A Taste of Greece

In this series you’ll be learning how to prepare  a multi course Greek meze. We’ll be making everything from scratch using the finest  seasonal ingredients culminating in a delicious meal that you’ve just prepared together with Greek wines supplied by Solent cellars of Lymington.

Oia Santorini Greece
A Taste of GreeceGreece was the cradle of western civilization. The mainland and the islands of the deep blue waters of the Aegean sea were a great place to develop a cuisine which we will be exploring. We’ll take a deep dive into the techniques needed to create a delicious Greek Meze. You’ll be given hands on tuition that will enable you to re create delicious dishes at home. I’ll show you the techniques required to make light crispy pita, incredibly delicious dips like Hummus, Tzatziki and spicy red pepper with Feta. My take on Greek salad plus grilled Halloumi with peaches, red onion and olives, An incredibly tasty dish of prawn Saganaki and grilled lamb with oregano. I love to use award winning food from the Great Awards and we’ll be featuring the supreme champion from 2024 a sensational Greek honey from Crete. At the end our cooking session we’ll be sitting down together together to enjoy this feast that will be washed down with Ouzo and some fabulous Greek wines supplied by Simon Collins from Solent Cellars, Lymington.
